Celebrate Your Bar or Bat Mitzvah in a Meaningful Way with LOTEM
Becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a significant moment in the life of a Jewish boy or girl. Our “Mitzvah to Mitzvah” program offers Bnei Mitzvah youth the opportunity to add more meaning to this special occasion by sharing it with children in Israel with special needs. By choosing to give tzedakah towards LOTEM on behalf of their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, participants will learn about charitable giving as a social component of their celebration as well as make a difference in the lives of children who are less fortunate in Israel. Tzedakah raised will go towards sponsoring a nature outing for a group of children with special needs.
Participants in the “Mitzvah to Mitzvah” program can choose the specific LOTEM project for which they wish their funds to go towards. Upon completion of their Mitzvah project, they will receive a certificate. On their next visit to Israel, they will have the opportunity to lead a nature outing together with one of our soldier guides. We will then celebrate the simcha together on our farm.
